My Services

Remedial Massage

I apply long stokes to flush through toxins and carefully apply pressure to stimulate your nervous system and encourage healthy circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and relieve muscle tension.

The aim of the session is to promote a feeling of wellbeing by reducing muscle tension, reducing stress hormones, reducing anxiety and promoting relaxation.

I will work to reduce negative output and increase positive input, by eliminating waste material from tissues and stimulating circulation by increased supply of minerals.

Deep Tissue Sports Massage

I work deeper into the muscles with long slow strokes to relieve stiff, knotted and painful areas. This is achieved by palpating areas of tension to identity textural changes to the muscles fibres and applying direct pressure or friction to release the muscles fibres.

To some, this type of massage is thought of as painful, but if the pressure is increased slowly and gradually and remains within the client’s comfort zone, a feeling of relief, rather than pain should be felt at the conclusion of the session.

This type of massage is not just for sportsmen and women, it can help with everyday issues such as headaches, tension, stress, back pain and repetitive strain injuries incurred from our everyday activities.

Deep tissue massage accelerates the recovery process by eliminating waste materials and aiding increased flow of the body’s nutrients, vital for muscle recovery from micro trauma.

Post exercise massage not only accelerates the recovery of muscle tissue but also benefits us by reducing the risk of injuries from occurring.

By identifying areas of tension, the client will have greater knowledge of how their body recovers following exercise.
